Children's Ministry at Light of Christ

Welcome!

YOU are the single-most influential person in your child's life.  Here at Light of Christ, we have the privilege of coming alongside and helping you out!  We care about your kids, and we care just as much about you!

In our Sunday morning kid's program called, "FaithLand", we strive to create a place for kids to have fun and grow spiritually with Jesus.  So we use some jaw-dropping dramas and eye-popping experiences to show kids what it feels like to know God and walk with Him through everyday life.

Age-appropriate drama, small group activities, and videos are all part of a typical hour during the weekend experience.  Knowing what we are teaching so that you can reinforce it at home is important.  That's why our weekly take-home family guide is so important!

Because parents matter most, we have some GREAT ways to connect here as a family.  Our Milestone Ministry brings families together to teach and experience faith-formation practices.  Our Family Ministry brings families together through laughter, learning, and living in community.  Our church values children in worship. . .so bring your kleenex, because you will have some of "those moments"!

What can you do to make a God-impact on your child?

  • Attend the same service each weekend to give your child consistency in learning and connecting socially.
  • Ask your child, "Hey, what was the main point in FaithLand this week?" and complete the activities on the parent flyer that goes home each week.
  • Be intentional about participating in Milestones and Family Ministry opportunities.  You may be surprised at the one-in-a-million moments you have there that do NOT happen in the car or on the field.
